"These fit my Dine-a-Chook drinkers and are significantly cheaper than the original replacements, however they are slow to fill and only self-fill to about 10mm. If you hold the float down with your finger, they'll fill higher, but my chickens haven't figured out how to do that :D So there's often a sludgy mess that needs cleaning out. If you've got money to burn, buy the originals but if you're economising like I am, these will do the job but require more maintenance."

Great product, excellent service

"Our new chook watering setup is a real timesaver! Previously I was washing buckets and changing water every morning thanks to my messy chooks (and the horrid cane toads). Now I have two 30 litre screw top drums with two drinking cups in each. The drums are mounted on brick plinths high enough to stop most of the dirt and dust from being scratched in (and there’s no chance of the toads fitting into the cups) Thanks Brookfield Poultry Equipment!"
