The Borotto Lumia 8 is a compact, fully automatic 12V egg incubator designed for home and classroom use, made from antibacterial plastic and featuring advanced technology for improved hatch rates. It automatically turns eggs at random intervals, mimicking a mother hen, and has a static humidification system to maintain optimal moisture levels.
With a capacity of up to 8 large eggs or 32 small eggs it is perfect for small batches. It offers digital temperature control with an accuracy of +/- 0.1°C and operates with low energy consumption. The incubator also features a transparent lid for easy viewing, comes with an Australian/New Zealand plug and a car charger for portability, and includes a 3-year factory warranty.

- Easy to set-up: Set-up in minutes, the incubator comes pre-set and ready to use immediately.
- Automatic turning: Fully automatic turner rocks eggs randomly using Borotto’s RandomFlex Motion System™ to replicate the mother hen and improve hatch rates.
- Monitor your eggs: The incubator lid, also in heat-resistant ABS, is entirely transparent to ensure full and constant internal visibility, without ever having to open the incubator during incubation or hatching. This is perfect for classrooms or home use to ensure everyone can watch as the chicks are hatching!
- Universal egg holder: Egg trays can fit either small (quail) or large (duck) eggs in the same racks without having to change anything over. You can hatch multiple breeds at the same time.
- Durable material: Made using heat-resistant ABS antimicrobial plastic featuring Biomaster technology for superior resistance, insulation and bacteria reduction and control.
- Low energy consumption: Tested & certified for use in Australia & New Zealand and comes with a factory fitted plug Type I (Aus/NZ) and a car charger (for transporting eggs). The 12V model is perfect for home use or classrooms.
- Easy to maintain: The Lumia 8 is easy to clean and features an external water refill system to avoid the need to open the incubator.
- Precise temperature control display: Range from 30°C to max. 40°C (max) with thermostat precision +/- 0.1°C.
- Static humidity: The humidity needed for embryonic growth is generated by static effect. There are special grooves on the bottom of the incubator, which are designed to generate the proper level of humidity during the entire incubation period.
